Recentemente \u00e8 stato approvato al Senato l\u2019emendamento al decreto \u201cDisposizioni per la semplificazione e la digitalizzazione dei procedimenti in materia di attivit\u00e0 economiche e di servizi a favore dei cittadini e delle imprese \u2013 DDL 1184\u201d, che intende estendere da 20 a 70 anni la durata dei diritti esclusivi sulle fotografie semplici, come gi\u00e0 veniva fatto nel precedente DDL Amorese (sul quale il Capitolo di CC e\u00a0<\/span>Wikimedia Italia, insieme ad ANAI, AIB, ICOM Italia, SISSCO e AISA avevano gi\u00e0 espresso le proprie\u00a0<\/span>perplessit\u00e0<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n L\u2019estensione della durata dei diritti esclusivi rischia di\u00a0<\/span>avere un impatto negativo sulla tutela e valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale italiano, di fatto bloccando l\u2019utilizzo del patrimonio fotografico\u00a0<\/span>custodito da biblioteche, musei e archivi pubblici e privati<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>a dispetto del suo importante ruolo per la documentazione e la ricerca storica e archivistica, e incidendo negativamente sulla libert\u00e0 di studio e sulla diffusione della cultura e della conoscenza.<\/span><\/p>\n Il Capitolo italiano di Creative Commons ha espresso la preoccupazione con una lettera aperta al Ministero della cultura, sottoscritta da decine di associazioni del settore culturale, unitamente al coordinamento italiano di KR21.<\/span><\/p>\n Leggi la lettera per intero\u00a0qui<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n *********<\/p>\n ********<\/span><\/p>\n Recently, the Italian Senate approved an amendment to the bill\u00a0<\/span>\u201cProvisions for the simplification and digitalization of procedures concerning economic activities and services in favor of citizens and businesses \u2013 Bill 1184\u201d<\/span><\/i>, which aims to extend the duration of exclusive rights on simple photographs from 20 to 70 years. This change mirrors what had already been proposed in the previous\u00a0<\/span>Amorese Bill<\/span><\/i>\u00a0(on which the Creative Commons Italian Chapter and Wikimedia Italy, together with ANAI \u2013 Italian National Archival Association, AIB \u2013 Italian Library Association, ICOM \u2013 International Council of Museums Italy, SISSCO \u2013 Italian Society for the Study of Contemporary History, and AISA \u2013 Italian Association for the Promotion of Open Science, had already expressed their\u00a0<\/span>concerns<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n The extension of the duration of exclusive rights risks having a negative impact on the protection and enhancement of Italy\u2019s cultural heritage, effectively preventing the use of photographic collections held by public and private libraries, museums and archives.
